Security Systems Installation Specialist

About the Role:

HKD Pty Ltd. is an authorized distributor of HIKVISION in Australia, with the rights to sell all ranges of security products under the HIKVISION/HILOOK brand. The company has well-established sales and technical teams.

The role involves installation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV, alarm, access control, and intercoms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Installation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV, alarm, access control, and intercoms.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to security systems.
  • Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine the appropriate security installation solutions for clients.
  • Providing technical support and advice to clients.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
  • Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and intercoms.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and IP configuration for security systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and cabling license.
  • Have your own engineering vehicle, such as ute or van.
  • Have your own electric tools.
  • Valid visa to work in Australia.
