Inventory Control Specialist

Manage the movement of parts, from receipt and storage through to dispatch, ensuring system accuracy in ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, pick and dispatch parts and components across site stores and warehouses.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts, issues to work orders, locations, stocktakes and cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, transport companies and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage overstock / obsolete items and support purchasing as required.
  • Partner with maintenance, planning and workshop teams to align stores activities with operational needs.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

About You

  • Current driver's license and forklift ticket (essential).
  • Demonstrated experience in stores or inventory control, ideally in mining, heavy industry or logistics.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong focus on safety, accuracy and service.
  • Willingness to work on a remote site in varying conditions.
  • Driver's license and parts interpretation skills are highly regarded.
