Our Overnight Respite Cottage Manager will lead a passionate and dedicated team of Carers to deliver HammondCare's model of care with its Overnight Respite Cottage service in Dubbo.

This full-time position is responsible for the management and direct care of clients' individual needs at our new Cottage Respite Home.

Cottage Manager Role
  • Leads a team of staff to deliver high-quality care services, working closely with the Head of Clubs and Cottages to recruit, mentor and lead staff.
  • Manages budgets, ensures quality and oversees all technical aspects of care provision at the Respite Cottage.
  • Provides professional leadership for the team, ensuring individualised care is delivered to clients.
  • Makes a significant difference in improving the quality of life for those we care for and their carers.
Key Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care and a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Clinical registration is preferred, but not essential, as internal clinical resources are available to support non-clinical applicants.
  • Demonstrated ability to build supportive relationships with clients within a relationship-based model of care.
  • Knowledge of relevant care standards, agreements and policies.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals in a multi-site environment.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Empathy, compassion and a genuine interest in helping those in need.
