You will also be responsible for certifying design, testing and acceptance activities of rolling stock.You will also:Act as the rolling stock Independent Certifier, certifying design, test, and acceptance.Provide technical matter expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles.Supervise T&C, product introduction and other deliverables as required by future projects.Assist in project control, execution and management of tasks/projects.Carry out analytical & implementation tasks.Liaise and assist with project reviews and the project team and communicate effectively with client staff.Complete all project administrative tasks as required inclusive of managing project reporting and financials.QualificationsIdeally, you will have at least 10 years' experience in a similar or related role with demonstrated expert knowledge of rolling stock within a consultancy environment.
You will also have:Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering disciplineCPEng or equivalent registration highly desiredRPEV/RPEQ highly desired but not mandatoryDemonstrated strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specificationsProven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Exceptional written and planning skillsConfident to work autonomously with limited guidance.Analytical and technical mindset.Additional InformationWe are open to considering this role on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
