We are seeking a skilled Restoration Specialist to join our team at Bay Building Group. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality restoration services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance restoration industry, with a focus on water damage, fire damage, and mould remediation. They will be responsible for conducting site reporting, technical restoration, treatment, and cleaning of allocated sites, as well as liaising with internal office staff, project managers, external contractors, and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial make-safe works for water, mould, fire, and other restoration-related projects.
- Completing reports and technician duties for water damage, fire damage & mould projects.
- Carrying out installation, monitoring, and reporting of mitigation & restoration equipment.
- Completing mould cleaning and fire wash down of relevant areas, including the usage of restoration chemicals.
- Completing inventory reports of restorable/non-restorable contents items.
- Completing steam-cleaning of carpets.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of WHS compliance, customer service principles, and project management practices. They will also have excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
