Expert Genetic Counsellor Wanted

Monash Health is seeking a skilled and experienced genetic counsellor to join its General Genetics Department at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.
The successful candidate will provide genetic counselling to clients with a wide range of genetic conditions, including prenatal, paediatric and adult patients. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for providing high-quality patient care.
- Developing and implementing genetic counselling plans for clients with genetic conditions
- Providing accurate and timely information to clients about their genetic health
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices
Applicants must have a Master's degree in Genetic Counselling and at least 2 years of experience in the field. They should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
