About the Opportunity

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Genetic Counsellor to provide expert guidance to patients and their families concerned about genetic conditions.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with other counsellors and medical geneticists as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach is required to deliver effective patient care and management.
  • The ability to build friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment is vital.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
