Job Role:

As a professional in clinical genetics, you will be part of a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our purpose: to help people live healthy and fulfilled lives.

The Clinical Genetics Service coordinates and delivers high quality genetic services across three campuses. The Genetic Counsellor will work with the Senior Genetic Counsellor/Unit Manager and Director of Clinical Genetics to coordinate and deliver these services.

This role involves leadership of the professional group of genetic counselling and genetic counselling support staff, as well as direct responsibility for leading and managing the Neurogenetic service. You will contribute to the development of a mainstream model of care with neurology departments.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or a Diploma in Genetic Counselling, and be Board Certified. Experience in leading a Genetic Counselling team and Genetic Counselling for neurogenetic conditions are desirable.
