Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the position of Early Childhood Teacher in our child care services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To comply with legislative requirements, including the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care at all times;
  • Support and contribute to planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection of high-quality educational programs in line with approved learning frameworks and guidelines;
  • To build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with children and their families in creating a connected and inclusive learning environment;
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders to support optimal learning and developmental outcomes for children;
  • Implement policies and associated procedures of the organization at all times;
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to the Centre Director.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education;
  • Accredited Child Protection Training, CPR, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training certificates, and Food Handler Basic Training certificates;
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate early childhood programs as required by the EYLF & MTOP;
  • Sound understanding of Education and Care Services National Law & National Education and Care Services Regulation;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Hold valid National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check;
  • Previous experience in a child care setting is preferred.
