Overview

Role: Early Childhood Teacher

Location: Southern region, NSW – All centres are located within the NSW Southern region

Salary Range: Early Childhood Teacher – ranging from $43.55 p/hr to $66.09 p/hr + Superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent

We offer quality early learning programs, as well as accredited Kindergarten and Preschool programs across Australia. We are looking for like-minded professionals who are committed to making a difference in children's lives in the Southern region of New South Wales.

Note: This role is with Goodstart Early Learning, a not-for-profit organisation focused on improving outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices delivered with creativity and energy.
  • Build meaningful relationships with families so each child has a strong sense of belonging and thrives.
  • Model and mentor high-quality educational practices in your room and collaborate with the centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement early learning programs for optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
  • Current Teachers Registration.
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a classroom, engage with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
  • Commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement; ability to share best practices to improve the education program.
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
