Professional Rehabilitation and Injury Case Coordinator

The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate rehabilitation and injury management initiatives.
This role plays a key part in supporting Senior Managers with information and training surrounding Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management Issues. You will also provide vital support for health workers with your proactive approach to case management as you facilitate a safe, timely, and durable return to duties for ill and injured employees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on injury management principles and experience in managing a large caseload including complex and long-term cases.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve return-to-work outcomes for employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.
- Collaborate with senior managers and health workers to identify and address workplace hazards and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of employee injuries and returns to work, and analyze data to inform injury prevention and return-to-work strategies.
A relevant tertiary qualification in Allied Health or an appropriate discipline, or equivalent experience and expertise.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Experience in workers' compensation and injury management, with knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
