About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Deli Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting Coles stores across QLD and delivering training programs to Deli team members.

About the Job Description:
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for Deli team members in Coles supermarkets across QLD.
    • Provide ongoing mentoring and feedback on training progress, supporting team members to achieve learning goals.
    • Work closely with Coles Deli team to ensure best-in-class execution, customer service, product knowledge, and quality standards.
  • Requirements:
    • Prior experience in Deli or a similar role, either as an independent operator or in a supermarket setting.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Able to work independently and meet clear goals and timelines, evaluating plans and tasks to ensure quality completion.
    • Flexible to accommodate schedule changes and new stakeholder requirements.
  • About You:
    • You have a proven track record of success in a Deli environment, with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
    • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
    • You are highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
