Key Responsibilities

The Service Deli Supervisor is accountable for the efficient management of employees and direct operations of the Deli department and other areas of the warehouse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, coaching, counseling, and directing Service Deli personnel to achieve optimal performance.
  • Maintaining high standards of department consistency and quality by monitoring finished merchandise.
  • Participating in restocking ingredients and supplies, food preparation, stocking display cases, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment.
  • Determining production requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Adhering to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assisting with physical inventory and ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs for machinery and equipment.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.
