This is an exceptional opportunity to become a valued member of a dynamic team, providing expert legal support across diverse industries. As a seasoned legal professional, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization.
Main Responsibilities:- Developing and reviewing complex agreements, including supply contracts, joint venture documents, loan agreements, general security agreements, and trust deeds.
- Providing strategic advice on commercial transactions, acquisitions, and sales of businesses, including due diligence processes.
- Preparing and negotiating documentation for property matters, including leases and associated contracts.
- Offering intellectual property expertise, including trade mark searches and collaborating with IP professionals.
- Supporting estate planning, including wills, powers of attorney, and related documents.
- Assisting with corporate governance and secretarial matters across a portfolio of companies.
- Conducting research and advising on complex and novel legal issues across multiple industries.
- 5-8 years PQE in corporate/commercial law (law firm or in-house).
- High-level drafting and document review skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to balance technical precision with practical business advice.
- A collaborative, adaptable mindset suited to working across diverse industries and issues.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to tax law and/or financial concepts and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks and responsibilities.
