About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Green Leaves Early Learning Chapel Hill. As a key member of our nursery room team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that meet the needs of our children and align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Ensure the nursery room is a safe, welcoming, and stimulating space for children to learn and grow

Requirements:

  • Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Current Working with Children's Check and relevant certifications
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in leading teams and implementing programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
