Key Account Manager Job Description

The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in developing relationships with key partners across Australia and New Zealand.

This role reports directly to the Head of Sales, focusing on generating new business and increasing revenue through partnerships as well as building and implementing sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth through selected partners as set out in the target plan
  • Develop and implement promotional initiatives to maximise market opportunities
  • Work with various departments to deliver the Europcar product to market in a customer-responsive and cost-efficient manner
  • Report on market performance on a monthly basis
  • Deliver improved contribution levels through product delivery
  • Promote the Europcar brand within the travel industry
  • Develop sales strategies to attract targeted accounts
  • Conduct direct negotiations with key clients and monitor contract performance
  • Build relationships with clients and key market players
Requirements:
  • Sales leadership experience in the car rental or travel industry
  • 3+ years' experience in account management
  • Familiarity with booking systems
  • Advanced strategic sales skills
  • Strong customer focus, delivering quality for all stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Skilled in project management, negotiation, and conflict resolution
