We are seeking a highly skilled Water Management Specialist to join our team at Karara Mining Limited. As a Senior Advisor Water & Environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water supply system.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the planning and scheduling of water management activities, ensuring materials and labor are provided as needed.
- Develop and implement water quality monitoring and general hydrometric data collection programs.
- Engage with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective operations aligned with Karara's financial and operational goals.
- Coordinate compliance sampling and monitoring in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
Karara Mining is a leading iron ore producer and steel maker in China, with a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant, and significant infrastructure and logistics networks. Our operation includes a dedicated berth at the Port of Geraldton, with associated rail and train unloading infrastructure.
