We are seeking an experienced Water Management Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining all site water assets, including centrifugal pumps, portable generators, submersible pumps, isolation, and control valves.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation of our dewatering environment. You will work closely with our Operations Supervisor and other teams to achieve peak efficiency and maintain the highest standard of safety.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding, and breakdown repairs on the site water system, including pipe work, tanks, and control valves.
- Removal and installation of multistage bore pumps, centrifugal pumps, fire pumps, and isolation and control valves.
- Refuelling of all generators and pumps.
- Identifying faults within the water network and creating SAP notifications to the respective engineering and maintenance discipline.
- Operating mobile equipment, including IT Loaders, Telehandlers, Excavators, and Light/Medium Trucks.
- Polywelding/fabrication.
- Operating the large-scale water distribution system and managing pond levels.
- Proven experience in water services operations, including exposure to bore fields, mine plans, equipment isolations, and water compliance requirements.
- Polywelding/fabrication experience highly desirable.
- HRWL – LF, DG, and CN qualifications preferred.
- C Class Manual Driver's License.
- Commitment to zero harm principles and focus on continuous improvement strategies.
- Self-motivated and ability to work in a strong team environment as well as autonomously.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP preferable.
The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
