Job Overview

Project managers with expertise in civil infrastructure will oversee daily operations of surface and mobile plant. Ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of resources, they must be able to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes. This role demands exceptional technical knowledge, leadership skills, and ability to foster collaboration among team members.

About the Role:
  • • Oversee day-to-day operations of surface and mobile plant across multiple civil work fronts
    • Provide expert technical input into mobile plant capabilities, performance, and optimization
    • Lead, mentor, and manage plant team members throughout the project
    • Develop and implement plant allocation strategies to meet project requirements
    • Monitor utilisation, productivity, and maintenance schedules to ensure efficiency and reliability
    • Drive compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Key Qualifications:

  • • Proven experience in a Plant Manager or Senior Plant Operations role within major civil or infrastructure projects
    • Strong technical understanding of mobile plant operations, maintenance, and performance optimization
    • Solid knowledge of bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, and structural civil works
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build capability and foster collaboration
    • High-level planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
