A seasoned professional seeking a challenging role in property or finance, with a strong focus on career advancement.

About the Opportunity

The company is a leading financial services organisation with a diverse range of investments across private equity, venture capital, and active funds. They are now looking to expand their real estate credit strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Capital Raising: Building relationships with new clients and leveraging off existing business units to drive growth.
  • Transaction Execution: Preparation and presentation of deal analysis to stakeholders.
  • Investment Management: Managing existing clients to promote retention and drive business growth.
  • Origination: Supporting the business development strategy and identifying new opportunities.
  • Governance/Business Excellence: Participating in and managing business risks, driving process improvement, and promoting best practices.
  • Leadership: Leading and growing a small team, with a hands-on approach to entrepreneurial spirit.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (economics, finance, property, valuation).
  • ~5+ years of proven experience in the property/finance industry.
  • Knowledge of property debt capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of property, credit, and investment lifecycles.
  • Experience in the private lending space is highly desirable.
