Public Area Cleaner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Public Area Cleaner to join our team at Avani Adelaide.

As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas within the hotel. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring every detail is immaculate.

  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lifts, and outdoor spaces.
  • Ensure all high-touch points are sanitized regularly.
  • Respond to guest requests politely and promptly.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and front office teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential.
  • A strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A friendly, positive attitude and professional presentation.
