We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Assistant in our Residential Aged Care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and lifestyle programs designed to enhance the wellbeing of our residents.
About the Role:Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver recreational activities and lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents to understand their preferences and requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure activities are safe and suitable for our residents
- Maintain accurate records of activities and program evaluations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and fun personality
- Experience working in lifestyle or recreational activities teams in aged care, disability, or community services (desirable)
- Certification IV in Leisure and Health or willingness to obtain
- Solid understanding of aged care principles
- Basic computer skills
- Australian work rights
- NDIS Workers Screening Check or willingness to obtain
