About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead to join our team at Eucalyptus. As a key member of our Data Analytics team, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of complex datasets to extract actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of complex datasets to extract actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Provide guidance, support, and professional development for team members, including conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Balance project workloads and allocate resources based on business needs, ensuring that both technical and managerial tasks are handled efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions, delegating where needed to your team to execute.
  • Perform advanced data mining, cleansing, and manipulation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and incorporate them into the workflow.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support special projects as required by the organization.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a data analyst or similar role, preferably in a senior capacity.
  • 2+ years people management experience
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Metabase, Power BI, Looker).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modelling is a plus.
  • Experience with building reusable components across multiple applications and code bases
