Underground Mining Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned Underground Mining Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of mining operations in Western Australia.

">About the Role">

The successful candidate will oversee mining engineers delivering designs and plans, including drill and blast related designs, stope notes, and short-term production plans. They will also provide physical schedules for quarterly forecasts and budgets, assist with cost model development and calibration, and ensure integration between short-term and long-term mine plans.

In addition, the Underground Mining Engineer will drive continuous improvement by reviewing compliance to plan, stope reconciliation, resource model updates, and other key performance indicators. They will liaise with stakeholders on implementation plans and critical path for targeted production.

  • Provide high-level design and planning inputs to inform site level decision-making.
  • Ensure that all short-term production plans and schedules align with medium- and long-term mine plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mine layouts and minimize costs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline, at least 5 years of experience in underground mining engineering, and prior experience in senior positions. They must also hold a First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency or Quarry Manager's Certificate of Competency, and have the right to work in Australia.
