We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Officer to join our national Finance team at Hall & Wilcox. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing debtor collections, liaising with partners, and resolving client queries.
Key Responsibilities- Manage debtor collections for the National Insurance sections via calls and emails.
- Liaise with partners to assist with collection of their clients' outstanding debtors.
- Resolve client queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with rectifying unidentified deposits and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Improve and maintain processes and procedures to control financial transactions.
- 5+ years' experience in credit control, preferably within a law firm or professional services.
- Experience with debtor collections for insurance clients is highly desirable.
- A strong track record in reducing debt with a strong focus on cash in the bank.
- Good decision-making skills when collecting debtors.
- The proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Proactive approach.
- Excellent organisation skills and an ability to plan and prioritise.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
