As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on elevating work platforms, telehandlers, and lighting towers, with a focus on ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide on-site repairs and minimize the need for equipment transportation.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve complex issues and provide expert advice on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Conduct van audits and stock takes to ensure accurate inventory and optimal equipment utilization.
  • Generate sales and service leads, and work with the team to drive business growth.
  • Meet personal retail labor utilization targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with internal and external customers.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Proficient language, literacy, and numeracy skills, including the ability to write job notes, read safety information, and understand basic numeracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade qualification in elevating work platform technology, heavy vehicle, diesel, automotive, auto electrical, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
