About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Horticultural and/or Landscape Architect professional to join our team as a City Parks Coordinator. As a key member of our City Parks business unit, you will play a critical role in achieving our business objectives and providing leadership to our City Parks staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the City Parks business unit to achieve strategic, business, and asset management plans.
  • Provide leadership to City Parks staff in pursuit of customer service excellence and risk management.
  • Develop and implement effective reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Assist in forward planning estimates of maintenance and capital works budgets.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture and/or Landscape Architecture.
  • Minimum of five years recent experience in managing parks and gardens.
  • Extensive experience in tenders and contract administration.
  • Experience in successfully managing a large team.
  • Hold a current unrestricted 'C' class national driver's licence.
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation.
