Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Maintenance Fitter. This role offers a challenge and a chance to grow and develop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance across the plant in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure plant and equipment reliability;
  2. Maintenance Planning: Plan and execute maintenance activities independently;
  3. Safe Work Practices: Adhere to safe work practices at all times;
  4. Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve operational or technical issues;
  5. Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting expertise and perform modification work;
  6. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and develop job procedures.
Requirements:
  • A trade-qualified fitter or equivalent qualification;
  • Knowledge and experience in safe working practices and procedures;
  • Ability to understand technical drawings;
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised in a team environment;
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
