About the Role

As a strategic portfolio manager, you will be instrumental in driving our technology investments and making a tangible impact on our transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of IT projects across multiple business units.
  • Foster strong partnerships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between technology investments and strategic objectives.
  • Maintain performance, risk, and benefits realisation metrics, providing transparent reporting and insights to executive leadership.
  • Develop and govern project delivery frameworks, portfolio management processes, and systems for continuous improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing complex IT portfolios, including development of frameworks and processes to drive project prioritization, governance, and benefits realization.
  • Proficiency with portfolio management tools and reporting (e.g., Altus, Planview, Clarity).
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and foster positive relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to long-term planning and key strategic direction.
  • Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency, with relevant certifications (e.g., PfMP, PMP, SAFe, ITIL) being advantageous.
  • A current National Police Clearance Certificate.
