We Are Hiring: Support Facilitator (Mornington Peninsula Branch)

Location: Mornington Peninsula, VIC

Parcare Support Service is excited to announce the opening of our Mornington Peninsula branch. We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Support Facilitator to help establish and grow this new service hub. This is a unique opportunity to play a leadership role in shaping our newest region and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with disability.


About the Role

As the Support Facilitator for our Mornington Peninsula branch, you will work closely with:

  • Our Director,
  • Our Support Facilitator in SE Queensland, and
  • A newly built team of dedicated support staff.

This position will start as a casual role, with the potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate. You'll be instrumental in driving growth, ensuring compliance, and building strong participant and community relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Development: Support the successful launch and management of our Mornington Peninsula operations.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage support staff to deliver high-quality services.
  • Participant Engagement: Conduct meet & greets, intake assessments, and ensure participant goals are central to support planning.
  • Compliance & Quality: Maintain NDIS compliance, documentation, and reporting standards.
  • Community Connection: Build strong networks with participants, families, and community organisations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director and interstate team to ensure consistent standards and service delivery across branches.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong understanding of the NDIS landscape.
  • Be confident in people management and leadership.
  • Show initiative and adaptability in a start-up branch environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be organised, proactive, and solution-focused.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience in disability services, social work, mental health, or a related field.
  • Understanding of NDIS requirements, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check) (or willingness to obtain).
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
