About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Design Manager to join our team at Ausenco. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering design projects to the highest standards, while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and designers, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, including cost estimates and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering design management, preferably in an EPCM environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering design principles, including earthworks, roadworks, and drainage design.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, and designers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
