About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Lead to join our team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering design and projects according to required timeframes and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering civil engineering design and projects in remote and challenging terrain
  • Issuing drawings and other relevant information for construction
  • Supervising the performance of civil engineers and reviewing deliverables
  • Collaborating with project teams and other disciplines to provide input in site selection and layout optimisation
  • Coordinating resources across different offices and time zones
  • Managing project budgets and reviewing and approving civil capital cost estimates
  • Evaluating tenders from a technical standpoint
  • Motivating engineers and other project team members towards superior performance
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated success as a Lead civil design engineer, ideally in an EPCM environment
  • Extensive experience in Earthworks, Roadworks, and Drainage design engineering in a relevant industry
  • Ability to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering
  • An in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience in design of mining facilities
  • Proven ability to conceptualise project layouts and optimise designs
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
