We are currently recruiting for experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our Brisbane-based team in support of a key base metals project.
Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide proficient and accurate design input for the production of mechanical drawings.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for performing accurate engineering designs and calculations, as well as developing and monitoring the production of designs in accordance with Project, Client, and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration with personnel across all business units is essential for this role.
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also assist with tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of mechanical equipment from vendors where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with Clients, vendors, co-workers, and other stakeholders is essential.
- The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects, with on-site experience being considered favorably.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Proven time management and organisational skills are also essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Estimated Salary:** AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
