Registered Nurse Position
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Ward. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical care to surgical patients throughout their surgery journey, from post-op monitoring to pain management and patient education.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality person-centered care.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner.
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care with a commitment to quality improvement.
