Seeking a professional with recent relevant experience in acute care or community nursing to join our Bowral Community Nursing Team as a casual Registered Nurse.

The role offers a positive culture workplace with a supportive cohort of 18 nurses, and four weeks full-time orientation provided. Ongoing shifts will be allocated on a casual basis to cover service requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, compassionate, quality, person-centred care
  • Work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team
  • Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
