Are you a mechanical fitter looking for a new challenge?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our maintenance team and be a key player in the upkeep of our plant and equipment.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter with a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter who has at least 3+ years' mechanical fitting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

As a mechanical fitter, you will be responsible for preventative, breakdown and scheduled mechanical plant maintenance, disassembling, installation and upgrades of plant and equipment, effectively diagnosing and fault-finding, leading continuous improvement solutions to reduce downtime, maintaining records and planning maintenance activities, and contributing to 100% Safe Behaviour & Conditions.

Requirements:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
- Minimum 3+ years' mechanical fitting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems highly desirable
- Strong commitment to safety with a focus on quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High risk work licence for forklift, basic rigging or dogging (highly desirable but not essential)
- Australian citizen or Permanent resident
