**Job Title:** Infrastructure Leadership RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and authoritative leader to provide strategic direction and operational guidance to our Pavements technical capability.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the operations, technical excellence, and delivery performance of the Pavements capability at SMEC. You will work closely with other sector leaders to develop and implement strategies that support our vision and values.

  1. Develop and execute a business plan to drive growth and improvement across the Pavements capability.
  2. Lead a national team of professionals to deliver high-quality projects and services.
  3. Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have 20+ years' industry experience, recognized as an authority in the transport infrastructure design market. They will have a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects successfully, building trusting client relationships, and producing high-quality tender documents.

They will also have expertise in managing teams for performance and cohesion, and recognition as a local authority in the sector.
