About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a skilled tradesperson in a dynamic environment.

As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for undertaking various tasks and duties as directed by your supervisor or regional manager.

Your primary goal will be to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, on time, and within client quality standards.

You will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively with planning and supervision, and a focus on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, control, and undertake work to the standards set down by clients and your organization.
  • Evaluate and improve output, quality, and delivery performance while achieving maximum efficiencies at the lowest possible cost.
  • Ensure safe work practices are carried out in line with organizational safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Assist management in identifying options to meet customer requirements.
  • Inspect and interpret drawings and specifications, determining methods of manufacture and required standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade qualification with a minimum of 2 years post-apprenticeship preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans, diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of techniques for interpreting project scheduling and costing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle a variety of personalities and deal effectively with people.
