How You Will Make an Impact
As a Tradesperson at Cabrini Health, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and high-quality environment across our facilities. You will be involved in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple areas including the carpentry workshop, infrastructure, plant, and equipment.
This is a casual role , ideal for someone seeking flexible working hours . You will be required to cover a range of shifts and fill in during periods of leave, making adaptability and reliability essential.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repairs across Cabrini Health facilities, including carpentry, minor building works, and general trades-related tasks.
Assist with the installation and maintenance of infrastructure, plant, and equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Work collaboratively with the Engineering and Maintenance team to deliver timely and efficient services across the hospital and other sites.
Conduct regular inspections and respond to maintenance requests or breakdowns in a proactive and professional manner.
Adhere strictly to OH&S policies and safe working practices in all aspects of your role, ensuring a safe environment for staff and patients.
About You
You are a skilled and versatile tradesperson who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and has a proactive approach to maintenance. Your ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be key to your success in this role. You will also require the following :
Proven experience in general maintenance and trade work, ideally within a healthcare, commercial, or industrial environment.
Strong practical skills in carpentry and general repairs.
Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Sound knowledge of safe working practices and workshop procedures.
A current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
Relevant Trade Qualification and Trade Licence.
White Card (Construction Induction Card) – highly regarded.
