As a tradesperson, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and functional environment across our facilities. You will be involved in various maintenance and repair tasks across multiple areas including carpentry workshops, infrastructure, plant, and equipment.

This is a casual role, ideal for someone seeking flexible working hours. Adaptability and reliability are essential as you will be required to cover a range of shifts and fill in during periods of leave.

You are responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs across Cabrini Health facilities, including carpentry, minor building works, and general trades-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs across facilities
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of infrastructure, plant, and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering and Maintenance team
  • Conduct regular inspections and respond to maintenance requests or breakdowns

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general maintenance and trade work, ideally within a healthcare, commercial, or industrial environment
  • Strong practical skills in carpentry and general repairs
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Sound knowledge of safe working practices and workshop procedures
  • A current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence
  • Relevant Trade Qualification and Trade Licence
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
