At Alstom, we're committed to delivering exceptional transport solutions that move people and goods efficiently. As a Cleaning Superintendent, you'll play a vital role in our Fleet Maintenance team, overseeing the cleaning of our QNGR fleet to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of train service contractors to ensure timely and effective cleaning of the QNGR fleet.
  • Manage cleaning and maintenance activities, including decanting, fogging, internal and external cleans, graffiti removal, and windscreen cleaning.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure scopes of work are executed accurately based on in-field assessments.
  • Provide support to planning for units requiring cleaning work.
  • Attend cleaning audits at various locations across the SEQ rail network.

About You

We're looking for a motivated and experienced leader who can build strong relationships with our contractors and stakeholders. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team and/or contractors.
  • Ability to work night and day shifts, and travel to various locations around the SEQ rail network.
  • Exposure to fleet maintenance or a similar environment.
