">About The Job">

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Asbestos Analyst to join our high-performing asbestos team.">
  • The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting and reviewing complex asbestos identification and fibre counting.">
">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Perform and review complex asbestos identification in soil and bulk materials using PLM.">
  • Conduct and oversee fibre counting using PCM, ensuring precision and accuracy.">
  • Approve and finalise analytical results and client reports.">
  • Provide expert technical support and advice to clients.">
  • Lead internal and external training programs for junior analysts and clients.">
  • Administer and contribute to proficiency testing programs.">
  • Drive method development and improvements in asbestos analysis.">
  • Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors to maintain accreditation compliance.">
  • Mentor and support the development of junior staff.">
  • Maintain strict adherence to WHS, NATA, and ISO 17025 standards.">
">Requirements">
  • ">
  • A relevant science degree (e.g. Chemistry, Environmental Science).">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asbestos identification and fibre counting.">
  • Advanced expertise in PLM and PCM.">
  • Strong understanding of ISO 17025 and NATA accreditation requirements.">
  • Experience in training and mentoring junior analysts.">
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.">
  • The ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.">
