Chef - Hot Meals Specialist

Do you want to help reconnect Australia with the world by delivering exceptional culinary experiences on board? As a Chef in our Perth Airport team, you will be part of a close-knit and dedicated unit focused on providing top-notch services to our airline partners.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate chef who can prepare hot meals for Business and Economy class passengers. Your primary responsibility will be to work in a busy kitchen environment preparing various international hot meals in commercial quantities for our customer airlines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare hot meals for Business and Economy class passengers according to menu specifications.
  • Manage inventory levels and minimize food wastage.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.
  • Fully comply with food safety/HACCP, WHS, and QSAI policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications preferred.
  • Passion and drive to deliver high-quality food to customers.
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Motivated, hardworking, and with a good attitude.
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
  • A clear National Police Check will be required.
  • Availability to work 38 hours per week as a full-time permanent position.
