Clinical Documentation Strategist

As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a culture of exceptional clinical documentation accuracy. This is crucial for developing a model of care that prioritizes quality and health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will collaborate closely with clinicians and coding teams to participate in the Clinical Documentation Integrity program.
- By leveraging your clinical, coding, and documentation expertise, you will foster improvements in the overall quality, completeness, and compliance of clinical documentation.
- You will facilitate appropriate clinical documentation to ensure that the level of services and acuity of care are accurately reflected in the medical record.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the confidence to liaise with medical staff on patient treatment/outcomes is essential.
- A working knowledge and/or ability to acquire knowledge of clinical coding documentation requirements is required.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to lead, implement sustainable change, and inform key stakeholders across the organization is necessary.
- Highly developed analytical skills and demonstrated aptitude in problem solving, including conflict resolution, are also required.
