Clinical Documentation Specialist

About the Role:
The Virtual Ward Registrar will be responsible for documenting relevant clinical information accurately, concisely and legibly in patient charts. This involves conducting interviews, examinations and identifying clinical problems, as well as arranging investigations, medical treatment and discharge as directed by the Consultant.
Key aspects of the role include reviewing patients daily, ensuring that discharge summaries and other correspondence are completed with minimum delay, and participating in Outpatient Clinics.
- This role requires strong documentation skills, including the ability to document clinical information accurately and efficiently.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues and consultants.
- Strong organizational skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases is mandatory for this role.
