This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the conservation of Queensland's parks and wildlife.

As a Ranger, you will have the chance to choose from various career paths across the state, working in some of the most breathtaking landscapes, including the outback, rainforests, mountains, reefs, and coastal islands.

The position involves patrolling parks, maintaining facilities, repairing tracks, engaging with visitors, preserving cultural heritage sites, protecting threatened species, conducting planned burns, controlling invasive species, delivering education and compliance programs, or managing wildlife rehabilitation and rescues in remote areas.

About the Role

This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about conservation and want to start their career in a rewarding field. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment and work towards a long-term goal of becoming a fully qualified Ranger.

  • You must hold a current, unrestricted manual driver's licence.
  • Some roles require a current Blue Card.
