The role of a Ranger involves working in collaboration with Indigenous communities, combining traditional and western knowledge for future generations.
Main responsibilities may include patrolling parks, maintaining facilities, repairing tracks, engaging with visitors, preserving Cultural Heritage sites, protecting threatened species, conducting planned burns, controlling invasive species, delivering education and compliance programs, or managing wildlife rehabilitation and rescues in remote areas.

- Locations across the State with varied landscapes and communities.
- Diverse roles in conservation, wildlife protection, visitor safety, and/or education.
