We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy Analyst to join our team at the Department of State Growth. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a key role in providing authoritative advice to the Government on commercial and policy aspects of the development of major energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and provide high-level written work and correspondence, including Ministerial correspondence, Minutes, Cabinet documentation, briefing material, reports, submissions, and other documentation.
- Identify and propose solutions to emerging challenges, strategic issues, and risks in progressing major projects.
- Establish and foster productive relationships with external stakeholders, other Government agencies, regulators, and state-owned electricity businesses.
- Work cooperatively with other members of the team to achieve high-quality outcomes within defined timeframes and resource constraints.
- Develop, implement, and manage projects using effective project management methodology.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- A current driver's license.
