About the Role

We seek experienced professionals in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or Social Work to join our team as Occupational Rehabilitation Specialists. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality services to clients with various conditions, developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Case management with manageable caseloads and administrative support from Rehabilitation Assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes and address psychosocial barriers
  • Collaborating with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop targeted solutions
  • Working across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third-party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans' Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
  • Assisting injured workers to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes through assessments and treatment planning
Requirements
  • A qualification in one of the specified fields (Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy)
  • Registration with the relevant governing body (AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA, AASW, etc.)
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or a related field is highly regarded
  • Fantastic communication skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential for building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
