Rehabilitation and Wellness Specialist

We are seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Albany Creek Leisure Centre in QLD. As a key member of our national AEP team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and advance your career.

The role involves providing exercise intervention and education to individuals at risk of developing chronic conditions or injuries, as well as those with existing medical conditions and injuries. You will also be responsible for promoting Exercise Physiology within the centre and wider community, facilitating group-oriented rehabilitation classes, and liaising with other medical professionals involved in patient rehabilitation.

This is a part-time opportunity with the possibility of increasing to full-time hours. The successful applicant must be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia.

About the Role
  • Exercise intervention and education for prevention of chronic conditions and injuries
  • Clinical exercise prescription for patients with complex medical conditions and injuries
  • Health education, advice, and support to enhance health and wellbeing
  • Promotion of Exercise Physiology within the centre and wider community
  • Facilitation of group-oriented rehabilitation classes
